Taobao gal wig review + styling ＼ﾟ*

 

Last month I had a Prisila replica half wig arrive! 

I paid roughly £10, which is an absolute steal compared to the real thing, but this half wig is discounted!!! I wish they would bring back their old styles instead of having to browse secondhand constantly (and check its unused...ew)

Anyways I'll use pics sourced from the wayback machine as reference to compare!

The "official" name of this wig is VM-04

I used a chinese proxy service to buy this, below is the store I bought from! I bought shade TMB (I usually buy TMB or TDM)

Now what I will definitely say first....it did not arrive looking like this it look so bad it was genuinely hilarious to try on, you definitely get what you pay for and its not as nice as the real thing but a little love fixed it! and its now in my regular rotation

It arrived looking like this.... not cute.

I re-curled the back and separated some of the larger chunks of hair.

I will say unlike the real wigs, these have a much much lower heat resistance, please do 110 at max! otherwise it will burn, which I found out the hard way 

Once on, I teased out the front portion to give more volume and this is the finished result!

I'm super happy with the result! I think its a great choice if you wish to try out half wigs but don't want to spurge a ton since brand new Prisila is around £40-£50 which really does add up over time! Always though, I do recommend the real thing as they are beautiful pieces and will probably last longer compared to this one just based of the heat downside alone

I'm excited to try this one with colour strip extensions, I want to do a Neapolitan look for my trip! In terms of half wigs, I hope to one day come across one of the "poodle" wigs, I love the big top heavy look

My currents goals in life is for me to one day finish my education, I had to quit a few years back due to illness and mental health  and to make this blog a safe space for me and whoever may come across this little corner of the internet that belongs to me I went through many difficult periods in my life but the last couple years was a very dark place for me and I suffered a lot mentally hence why I'm blogging! I hope I can bring a kinder side when it seems the world is becoming a scarier place and I hope you'll all enjoy it!
