Hello!
I'm glad its finally almost the weekend, work has been tough
my chronic illness has been creeping back and I'm so tired all the time

Regardless onto today's topic! I frequently see people asking about what to do if your plus size and if you are even be gal.
The simple answer: Obviously
I never expressed myself outwardly! It wasn't until quite recent ie. 2-3 years ago I realized what was holding me back

Which is why I wanted to make this entry! I believe no matter how you look, you should be able to express yourself however you want plus I've had my own fair share of the rudeness within online spaces regarding something so simple as size
I don't let things like that affect me anymore, after all, I believe the most gal response to things like that is to ignore them and do what makes you happy and give positivity to others! People who critique others when its not asked for are only insecure within themselves and want an outlet
Despite gyaru being a typically flashy look, less can definitely be more as to not look more like cosplay I'm plus size and I want to wear brand but most are "one-size"
You'd be surprised at how much brand you could very likely wear! I own SO many pieces now where some won't zip up and others are loose on me, all trial and error
Now I won't sit here and say "go buy that MA*RS set up! Ignore all descriptions!" No, read descriptions and ask for measurements, keep fabrics in mind. For me, I hate rough and stiff textures on me regardless, so I try to buy anything that's cotton or a soft fabric (I personally enjoy cotton+spandex blends) You can find plenty of nice soft MA*RS dresses and tops all over secondhand sites. Same applies to other brands, example I don't have £200 to splash on a Jesus Diamante dress, so I opt for their cardigans and accessories and learn to modify! Jp brands tend to run small in the chest area and hips, so I prefer to replace elastic and even sew

Similar to make being the most important part, brand does not make a gal "gyaru", go outside and go shopping!
Find out what is your own personal taste, what you enjoy and base your second hand finds off of that.. ie. do you like the styles of D.I.A clothes? Go for fitted black attire such as a tight mini skirt, wear gold detailing, look for fur prints like zebra and dark wash denims
I'd suggest staying at a distance for inspo on social media since its full of misinformation
See you soon!
